The shortpages are broken on :fr, it incorrectly displays pages which have been
deleted for days... This problem has been there for more than a week, it is
getting extremely annoying for maintenance !

It's cached. It's not broken, it's out of date. Ask nicely, and someone might
run the maintenance script to update it.
