[Regression] General AbuseFilter failings after upgrade
Closed, DeclinedPublic

Description

Not sure if it is a wanted change, however when accessing Special:AbuseFilter/NUMBER the options that allowed for more settings like "Tag", if they were not selected, the content was collapsed and hidden (ie: the "which tags to apply" box didn't appeared until you checked the checkbox).

With this recent MediaWiki upgrade, this behaviour has changed and now everything appears visible and uncollapsed, which is a little mess...

Regards.

Also, the buttons "Preview selected message" and "Create/Edit selected message" aren't working. Thanks.

Ok, some more:

  • Operators selected in the dropdown aren't added to the box.
  • The "check syntax" button isn't working either at none of the pages the option is present, being:
  • Special:AbuseFilter/NUMBEROFFILTER (config. single filter)
  • Special:AbuseFilter/test
  • Special:AbuseFilter/tools
  • At Special:AbuseFilter/tools the "Evaluate" button isn't working either. The "re-autoconfirm" option isn't working either so Special:AbuseFilter/tools is fully unusable at this time.

I have similar problemas but only using Firefox 16.0.1 (buttons not working in Special:AbuseFilter/examine).
When using IE8, everything seems to work as it should.

Options seems to work now with Firefox 16.0.2. I've lowered priority back to 'normal' again. Regards.

Malafaya: Do you still see this problem with Firefox 16.0.2?

Andre Klapper: no, it works fine as of today (with FF 16.0.2).

In that case nobody is left here to reproduce it. :)
Closing.
