I tried creating another instance in the same project and I get the same failure. Also tried restarting -- no luck there either.

Seems when I disabled auto-creation of home directories in my script that I also disabled the creation of the project directories too. Autofs can't mount a directory that doesn't exist on the server ;).

This is fixed now.

Andre, this should be fixed now -- it was unrelated to this original bug, just a gluster hang-up.
