Several pages (e.g. Special:WantedCategories) stopped updating on *.wiktionary.org since Oct31
Closed, ResolvedPublic

Description

The special page [[Special:WantedCategories]] stopped refreshing since November 1st at pt.wiktionary.org as well as other special pages (the ones that were still updating).
I don't have reasons to believe this was to be expected with the recent MW upgrades.

Many special pages haven't been updated since 10/31/2012 on en.wiktionary.

Dennis: Specific examples welcome.

CC'ing Reedy as this seems to be a bigger problem for *.wiktionary.org.
Reedy: Could you take a look (or delegate?)

Sounds like a broken/erroring cronjob...

Every single Maintenance report on [http://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/Special:SpecialPages Special pages] that is still being periodically updated. Ie, not those which are constantly updated and not the few that are have not been updated since 2009. Some of the ones that are updated regularly seem useless to me as the number of items far exceeds the 5,000 limit, eg, Wanted templates, Uncategorized templates. Can additions to the list be reported instead of the entire list? Or should we just rely on getting someone to run reports that are actually useful, of our own design, from the XML dump?

Same issue as bug 42152 which has more discussion.

It actually has less discussion and is a week more recent in initiation ;)).
