CiteThisPage Extension: the Revision date and the Permanent link do not match
Open, MediumPublic

Description

The cite extension returns the date of last revision instead of the date of the version the permanent link points to if I cite an older revision.
This seems pretty useless in the "Bibliographic details", but it is wrong in the short citation styles, because there is not defined that this is the last revision date before the access date.

I think this bug is rather severe, because it makes virtually every citation of an older version of an article contain false or at least misleading information.

If, next to today's date (the "cited" date), there is another somewhat earlier date, one would think that this is the date when the linked version of the page was created. Instead, this is always the date when the _latest_ version of that page was created, which is completely irelevant for someone citing an older version. If we make it possible for users to link to an older version and educated them about the usefulness of using such links (CiteThisPage generates them), we should also take care that the resulting citations make sense – nowadays the document's date and the link mismatch in such a case.

The extension should be modified in such a way as to look up the date associated with the page by first trying to look up the date of the given oldid version (if provided), and only then resort to using the last modification date of the page of the given name.
