Description:
My name is Dennis Dikkerboom and I'm the ambassador of the Frisian Wikipedia.
Our large numbers are written the English way (1,000). We wondered if you could
change it to the Latin/European way (1.000). As an example: the count of
articles on the Main Page of the Frisian Wikipedia reads 2,078 articles, instead
of 2.078 articles.

Could you point us to a discussion showing consensus for this?

Actually, I can't, because there's no discussion. But Aliter, one of the
Administrators has asked me if I could ask the International Community if this
could be changed. I can point you to this request and my reply:

and
http://fy.wikipedia.org/wiki/Meidogger_oerlis:Aliter#Skrapkes_en_punten
Only it's both in Frisian. I think there is no-one on the Frisian Wiki that
objects such a change. We're just a small Wiki and we (Aliter and me, that is)
didn't see the point to discuss such a small issue. I'll hope you understand this.
