Students table should be included in the Table of Contents on course pages
Closed, ResolvedPublic

Description

For course pages that have a Table of Contents, the Students table at the bottom does not appear as part of the TOC. For example:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Education_Program:Example_College/Test_Course_%282013_Q1%29

Having a link in the TOC straight to that table will be useful for complex course pages.

From IRC:

(12:50:58) JeroenDeDauw: Would it be acceptable to move the summary table thing beneath the students table?
(12:51:14) JeroenDeDauw: Basically I am only getting it to work if the student table is right below the description field

Hmm... I guess that's preferable to not having it show up at all.

Hopefully down the road we can get some help from a designer to fit the pieces together in a better way. The info in the Summary table is valuable, and we don't want it to be too hard to get to. (Can that also be in the TOC? If so, it doesn't really matter whether Students or Summary come right after the description field, although I think Summary makes more sense to have first.)

Can that also be in the TOC?

I only can have one show up. Will enquiry on wikitech on how to properly solve this - I'm not that familiar with the parser interface.

Hopefully down the road we can get some help from a designer to fit the pieces

together in a better way.

Very much agree. Right now the info is displayed rather clumsily, just one step above doing a var_dump :)

Okay. How about (for now) one TOC entry for "Summary and students", with the summary first?
