Screenshot of Hindi Wikipedia search field
Even when Narayam is enabled Indic typing not working for search field. This is happening for all the Indic wikis. Attaching a screenshot. Please fix this bug. Thanks

I tried it once again. But I think you need to enable once again. Here is what I did:
I searched a word which doesn't exist and then it showed me the screen I have atteched. To type in Hindi I had to enable Narayam once again.

Subhashish: Which browser and version do you use?
Cannot reproduce either with Firefox 17.0.1.
Setting low priority as "Narayam" will slowly get superseded by "UniversalLanguageSelector" and "Translate", hence smaller Narayam problems have lower priority currently.

- Go to https://hi.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?search=
- Click इनपुट विधि in the top bar
- Enable the checkbox for सक्षम करें .
- Click the big search field. It becomes light blue.
- Type and see Hindi letters.

Firefox current version. But I need to enable Narayam again for the search bar. Same problem for Hindi and Odia Wikipedia. Anyway, hope ULS will solve these problems

"Current version" can mean a lot of things (10.0.12esr? 17.0.2esr? 18.0.1?), plus changes over time. Please try to provide the version - it's just two clicks away ("Help > About Firefox") and helps avoiding misunderstandings. :)
