Problems in expert signatures
Closed, InvalidPublic

Description

Hi

At pt:Wikipedia my signature is {{Usuário:555/Ass}} that shows this
(http://pt.wikipedia.org/wiki/Usu%C3%A1rio:555/Ass) very small page. But, if I
try to edit the /page at pt:Wikipedia or try to start using it at pt:Wiktionary
I get a error message "Your signature contains one or more reserved expressions;
please remove them.". Please, fix it.

Signature transclusions are no longer permitted within the software, but we
haven't yet altered the code to deal with existing signatures. This is happening
when you're signing pages?

Yes, I am continuing to signing in talk pages with this code. But, that option
was very useful and economizes disk space: only 19bytes instead off 108bytes for
each signature (this for sysop that needs to talk with new users is equivalent a
lot off extra bytes in database...)

It was, however, open to abuse. In addition, transcluded signatures aren't
helpful to performance. Existing ones will be put to death at some point in the
near future.
