Description

My bot is unable to save pages via the API (standard wikitext pages) and pywikibot throws the error:
pywikibot.exceptions.PageNotSaved: [[wikidata:Wikidata:Database reports/Popular properties]]: internal_api_error_MWException: Exception Caught: No handler for model 'wikibase-query'' registered in $wgContentHandlers

Where are you seeing this? What are the exact steps to reproduce?

I am seeing this any time my bot makes an edit using the API on a standard wikipage.

You can reproduce this by trying to edit a page using [[d:Special:ApiSandbox]] with action=edit.

We are debugging this in Wikidata.org right now as well.

Fixed with gerrit change #49784.
