Currently, we spend 1 request for each page to be modified to get the page contents, and 1 request to update it. This can be modified to use 1 request to get *all* the pages, and one request each to update them, thus reducing number of HTTP requests by roughly 50%.

As the Mobile Apps Team is focussing on the new, native Wikipedia app, the Commons app is no longer being maintained by the Wikimedia Foundation. I am WONTFIXing all open Commons app bugs to reflect that we will not be spending time fixing them.
