Special:nearby doesn't work on desktop version of wikipedia

Description

It only shows:

Nearby

This page requires both JavaScript and a location aware browser.

but in en.m.wikipedia.org it works fine, no matter what device you're using.

Apparently ppl will need to use it in desktop version like when they're using notebooks or large-screen tablets.

What are the steps to reproduce this? (I wonder how to get to the "Nearby" view on my mobile device.)

@Andre, you need to enable beta mode in the settings of the mobile version of en.wp. It will then appear in the menu.

known 'bug' js for all special pages currently only targets mobile so won't run on desktop as this is not our focus.
