Description

I re-uploaded a few files on Commons today, but it doesn't seem to have worked properly in all cases.

https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/d/d2/HTML_EmailUX-26.png/800px-HTML_EmailUX-26.png is showing outdated content.

https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/0/03/Notification_EmailUX-Daily_WeeklyDigest.png/800px-Notification_EmailUX-Daily_WeeklyDigest.png is showing outdated content.

https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/0/03/Notification_EmailUX-Daily_WeeklyDigest.png is showing outdated content.

I tried purging the file description page and I tried bypassing my browser cache.

My guess is that this is caching-related. https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/0/03/Notification_EmailUX-Daily_WeeklyDigest.png?1 (with "?1" appended) shows the correct content.

I don't think this is a duplicate. This issue sounds like a server-side thumbnail caching issue and the thumbnail infrastructure has completely changed in the last seven years with the introduction of Thumbor. For the other task it's not clear if it's server-side or client-side.
