Special:Translate is flashing unstyled content
Closed, DeclinedPublic

Description

(In reply to comment #29)

I'm still seeing flash of unstyled content, for example in
http://dev.translatewiki.net/w/i.php?title=Special:MainPage

Is the fix not working of is the cause different?

(In reply to comment #32)

Perhaps more clearly visible in
http://dev.translatewiki.net/wiki/Special:
Translate?action=translate&group=%21additions&filter=%21translated
(Chrome 26.0.1410.63)

Created attachment 12234 [details]
Screenshot of unstyled content

I just rebooted and had problems reproducing this on the main page. I still
see
it on Special:Translate reliably.

I don't see that on the URL you linked, but I always see it on Meta lately.
(I
thought it just took some time to load.)

Also personal tools on mediawiki.org, at any page load: after the (0) is
shown
and before the grey/red Echo counter appears, the personal tools jump
left-down
and then go back in place.

  • The Echo badge is unrelated (filed bug 48001)
  • None of these are related to bug 46401 (removed dependency)
  • None of these are (probably) related to ResourceLoader (moved to Translate extension for now)

Please file a separate issue for SpecialMainPage if it seems separate from Translate.

Then this report is not useful, let's call it a dupe/invalid.

  • This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 48001 ***

Not a dupe of bug 48001. Either mark this invalid and open a new bug for the unstyled content in Special:Translate, or (as I did) repurpose this for the latter.

Federico, is this still happening?

Federico, is this still happening?

You should ask e.g. the uploader of attachment 12234.
