unfortunately this report is not very useful because it does not describe the problem well. If you have time and can still reproduce the problem, please read https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/How_to_report_a_bug and add a more useful description to this report.
Confirmed:
1: Upload a batch of 2 images using UW
2: In the details step, add two categories to the first upload
3: Remove the text that you entered into those textboxes.
4: Choose the "Copy information to all uploads below ..." section at the bottom of the first upload
5: Check at least "Copy categories"
6: Press the copy button
7: The 2nd file will receive two categories, with the text that you have previously entered.
