The actual configuration file - http://noc.wikimedia.org/conf/highlight.php?file=InitialiseSettings-labs.php - doesn't contain any of these information.

At least genitive case is very important and many interface messages are using it e.g. statistics-edits now says "Кількість редагувань з моменту установки ВікіНовини" but should say after the fix "Кількість редагувань з моменту установки Вікіновин" and it's not the only example. Other cases are less important than genitive but should be setted too - as I remember while translating the interface at twn I saw messages with them.

There is nothing there with genitive etc in the configuration file now.

Changing the sitename is fine, as is namespaces. Though, for the namespace one would have to be the "default" and the rest would just be aliases..

But other projects have setted cased. E.g. Ukrainian Wikipedia. That's not for namespaces that's for the name to show correct in messages that use something like {{grammar:genitive|{{SITENAME}}}} (perhaps, I'm doing mistake in syntax now)

Can't this be solved in https://github.com/wikimedia/mediawiki-core/blob/master/languages/classes/LanguageUk.php ?
