String should say "log of blocked IPs", not "log of blocking IPs"
Closed, InvalidPublic

Description

Author: alanm1.enwiki

Description:
At https://meta.wikimedia.org/w/index.php?title=Special:Log&type=gblblock (the list of global blocks), the description at the top reads (with links):

"This is a log of blocking and unblocking IPs on all Wikimedia wikis. See the block log for accounts blocked locally"

 1. The log is not one of blocking and unblocking IPs. It is a log of blocked IPs and any changes to those blocks. A blocking IP would be the IP that performed the block.
 1. The period is missing at the end of the second sentence.
 1. I thought the second sentence might be wrong, too, expecting it to link to the equivalent local IP block log, but there doesn't appear to be such a thing. Should there be?

Correcting #1 and #2, the language should be:

"This is a log of blocked IPs (and edits/unblocks) on all Wikimedia wikis. See the block log for accounts blocked locally."

The log lists the actions of blocking and unblocking, so to me it feels correct but misinterpretable.

The message in the code is actually:

This is a log of global blocks which have been made and removed on this wiki.
133 It should be noted that global blocks can be made and removed on other wikis, and that these global blocks may affect this wiki.
134 To view all active global blocks, you may view the global block list.

Therefore, this would be a local issue.
