Isn't this somewhat useless at this point?

Oh, maybe not. But why are you submitting it here?

Open an issue on https://github.com/mathjax/MathJax/issues ? Or fork and add a pull request? :/

I didn't find a way to upload them on GitHub (and I'm unable to install git right now).

No, MathJax is fully translatable now, and the upstream translations have been imported to MW.

There are two issues now:

  1. There are only three languages upstream.
  2. Contributing or changing translations requires a pull request. We would prefer TranslateWiki. The MathJax people seem fine with this too; they just haven't been accepted yet (not sure if it's just a matter of time, or there are blockers).

This bug will help with 1. I'll do the pull request this time. Translators can do them directly too if they're comfortable doing so (https://github.com/mathjax/MathJax/fork).

This is in a personal branch of MathJax upstream, but hasn't been merged to their master yet.
