This seems to have been an anomaly. A strange anomaly because Rachel and I both were unable to create a reference on this page. Upon clicking "Apply changes" in the Reference UI, nothing at all appeared on the page. Now it does.
Chris, it's possible that we accidentally fixed the bug? We updated to master yesterday afternoon, though I don't think we were doing anything in this area.
