The interface message Wikibase-deletedentity cannot be translated to all languages
Closed, ResolvedPublic

Description

Author: byrial

Description:
The interface message Wikibase-deletedentity with the content "Deleted $1" where the variable $1 can be "item" or "property" cannot be translated correct to all languages as the grammatical form of the translation of the word "deleted" may depend on the gender of the entity type. For example in French "Deleted item" should be "Élément supprimé", while "Deleted property" should be "Propriété supprimée" according to http://www.wikidata.org/w/index.php?title=Wikidata:Contact_the_development_team&diff=51685506&oldid=51674703.

Proposed solution: There should be a separate message for each type of entity.

In Italian too.
"Deleted item" should be "elemento cancellato", while "Deleted property" should be
"proprietà cancellata".
