Description

One of our long-term objectives is for VisualEditor to be enabled by default on all (public) Wikimedia wikis; this is a tracker for that ambition.

As of August 2016, it isn't likely to be completed anytime soon, because some projects differ substantially from the Wikipedia use case for which VE has been primarily designed. For example, Wiktionary pages tend to be composed almost entirely of templates.
