Do these phones support data uris?

Marking as an enhancement since the problem is not stopping these phones from accessing the pages. Just looks unusual when you know what it is supposed to look like!

Possibly related: On Nokia Asha 501 only the top left quarter of the icons are shown.

The Nokia Asha 501 issues are due to lack of background-size support.
When we move to MediaWiki UI icons these devices since they do not support pseudo elements should simply render text instead. I'm looking into this.

This is now live in alpha. Need to propagate these changes to stable.

Change 202089 had a related patch set uploaded (by Jdlrobson):
Hygiene: Use mw-ui-icon in stable

Change 202089 merged by Kaldari:

We need to find one of the listed devices and see if this is resolved.

Not sure how to test this without a working phone, so let's assume this is solved and if it isn't will be as part of ui standardisation.
