incorrect warnings - one old one new
Closed, InvalidPublic

Description

For months we've had an odd situation where it will tell you that a category is not yet in use even though it exists. But I've ignored that as a cosmetic error - it still works and an incorrect warning doesn't slow you down much. But it has recently started to stop when I'm about to upload, tell me that some categories are empty and invite me to go back and complete them. I ignore this as I use the copy feature to copy my categories from the first file to the subsequent ones Maybe it doesn't notice that any more?

Is this a duplicate of bug 50352?

Please make a separate bug report for the first bug you talked of, the second is fixed already in https://bugzilla.wikimedia.org/show_bug.cgi?id=50352 but may take some time for deployment.

Closing this as invalid - "incorrect warnings - one old one new" doesn't explain much

Also please try to answer this when creating a new bug :
The warning says its not in use and you said it exists, maybe what the warning meant is that its not in use on any of the pages?
