[[:m:Special:AggregateGroups]] extremely slow on Meta
Closed, ResolvedPublic

Description

Issue:
Everything related to the translate extension is extremely slow at Meta. It begins with marking pages for translation which takes >> 10s, continues with Fuzzy-Bot errors (it "forgets" to create the /en subpage after marking for translation sometimes) and ends with failing [[:m:Special:AggregateGroups]].

I tried to create a new group (Add a new aggregate group) and then pressed "save". My input disappeared but the group was not added to the page. After reloading [[Special:AggregateGroups]] there was a new group with an empty heading on top of the page. I was unable to add pages to this groups. After reloading the page again, the group now had the correct heading and was sorted correctly but adding pages failed with:
{"servedby":"mw1132","error":{"code":"internal_api_error_DBQueryError","info":"Database query error","*":""}}

The page itself does not fail but its contents are often not up-to-date. Things like empty headings, broken sorting, ... most of this is related to the fact that API queries are used (e.g. for grouping or creating groups) and that they fail or take ages (about 30s) to complete.

Apparently it doesn't fail (or no longer), it just takes a minute or so; updating summary here and on bug 53792, closing this one as duplicate so that we continue in Translate component. Thanks for commenting there.
