VisualEditor: Difficult to get a blank line when the page starts with a bulleted list
Closed, InvalidPublic

Description

If a page starts with a bulleted list, there's no way to put the cursor "in front of" the list styling. If you want to add a non-list paragraph, you have to make a new, blank first bullet item and then remove the list formatting from the paragraph.

To reproduce:
1: Load a page in VE that starts with a bulleted list e.g. https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=User:Thryduulf/sandbox4&oldid=575308394
2: Try to add text before the first bullet.

It is possible that fix for bug 52302 might also resolve this issue.

Sorry, that last line should reference bug 52032.

Seems to be resolved - checked on the page https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=User:Thryduulf/sandbox4&oldid=575308394.
The text is easily added on a new line before the first bullet.
