Consider deprecating Ploticus PNG generation in favor of SVG

Description

Ploticus PNG generation has multiple text rendering issues, which do not appear if we generate a SVG and then rasterize.

Should we make this method the default for all <timeline> invocations?

Depends if the SVG methods is considered good enough now. Last time I checked it was an utter mess, but it might be better now.

(We should probably add something to the hash if we change the default to purge caches etc.)
