Provide a link to the JSON (view) page from the navbar dropdowns
Closed, ResolvedPublic

Description

Author: molly.white5

Description:
A link to the view frontend for the JSON block should be added to the dropdowns in each page's navigation bar. (Per David's suggestion: "A little "edit info" at the bottom of the box could be very useful, you could reuse the colors and the icon of the language list "edit links" that appear in wikipedia."

The Edit | Show links take up the top of the box -- whilst fine it does present an interesting white space issue that looks odd from my perspective.

[edit|show] without the extra line

The attached screenshot shows how it looks if I don't add that extra line of whitespace. Do you think it looks okay, or is there something that would look better? I'm hesitant to just hard-code in the necessary whitespace because of localization.

It does get lost in the noise a little bit. What if you had a header bar? So...

+-----------------------------------+

Table of Contents [ ViewEdit ]
Foo
Bar
Baz

+-----------------------------------+

That would also solve a minor, hopefully unlikely, UX issue where a user might click the button and be confused as to what the the popup meant.
