Update default cc for Wikimedia > Shop to ccogdill
Closed, ResolvedPublic

Description

Jalexander is no longer working on the WMF shop, he should be removed from default cc.
According to PPena, now the shop is done by Bryony Jones and Juli Matthews (standard WMF addresses). Neither of them appears to be on bugzilla, though.

someone at the office could teach Bryony and Juli how to create an account?

Yes, I was hoping that Andre could reach out to this someone. :)

You might be faster than light - cannot find Juli on https://wikimediafoundation.org/wiki/Staff?showall=1 :)

Not all contractors are listed there.

Aye, Juli is an outside contractor/service provider and so will not be listed on the staff page. She soes have an email (jmatthews@wikimedia.org) but unlikely a bugzilla request. I will poke them to see who will take it.

Assigning this to James for the time being (see comment 5).

This is a silly little bug, c'mon James, fix it :-)

James: Can you do so, please?

(Aside: pls ignore last no-op change; unintended.)

Should general discussion about the shop still happen on Meta? Is it more helpful to have some of them here?

Changed default CC for Shop component in "Wikimedia" Bugzilla product from jalexander to ccogdill. Thanks!

Thank you, Andre! I was trying to figure this out myself yesterday with little success so I appreciate your assistance.

Caitlin: I assume you don't have the user rights in Bugzilla to do such stuff, https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Bug_management/Project_Maintainers#To_add_a_project_or_component kind of covers it.

Ah, I think you're right. Well then thanks for adding me and for that resource!

Meta-Wiki is probably the best place, yes ([[m:Shop]] or equivalent). Though there's also bug 37797.

Meta is great for me. I will be doing a big update of the Shop's page on Meta as well as a few other shop-related pages in the next two weeks, as a note. I will outline a few things to look forward to in 2014.
