Restore copy and paste function
Closed, DeclinedPublic

Description

Author: bidgee-wiki

Description:
With the latest beta version (1.0.9), the copy and paste function is no longer functional (removed or disabled) in the Commons app for the iPhone/iPad using iOS 7.0.0.2. The function is handy to have, since I do my titles and description on the iPhone's Notepad app, which can save time if you have photographs that are similar or from the same event.

Interesting... I suspect one the touch gesture handlers is mistakenly eating the taps that should go through to the text widget's selection/context menu.

Seems to affect both iOS 7 and 6.1 (quick test in simulator).

As the Mobile Apps Team is focussing on the new, native Wikipedia app, the Commons app is no longer being maintained by the Wikimedia Foundation. I am WONTFIXing all open Commons app bugs to reflect that we will not be spending time fixing them.
