Right now we have some animations, such as smooth scrolling, in guiders. It might be advantageous to consider additional animations. One I particularly like is the way the very similar Hopscotch library (https://github.com/linkedin/hopscotch) appear and then move toward an item they're attached to, rather than just appearing in place.

Bug 63253 is concerned with hiding popups after the fade out animation. Now that we aren't doing the fade out animations for GuidedTours, the dependency no longer exists.
