UX asked for us to update a number of the error messages that can be encountered by users.

After a number of iterations, we settled on a format where,

• The error message is friendly to casual users
• Each error message has a short phrase and error code giving explicit details that a developer can use to debug
  • This part of the message should be less noticeable visually
• Error codes will link to a help page, where users and developers can do initial troubleshooting
