Description

I wanted to find extension GeoCrumbs, but putting the all-lower-case string into a search of all namespaces, produces nothing: https://www.mediawiki.org/w/index.php?title=Special:Search&search=geocrumbs&fulltext=Search&profile=all&redirs=1

(Possibly related to (or duplicate of) bug 54503 ? Possibly filed against the wrong extension? So many questions!)

This is caused by a normally helpful feature: we split camelCase words into multiple words. It lets you search for namespace alias and find wgNamespaceAliases. In this case the black magic has backfired. I'm triaging this to Normal but will try to have a look at it soon.

Fixed. Sorry for not attaching the patch that fixed it. The patch fixed a bunch of bugs and just went live and I only now caught that it fixed this as well.
