What would be the exact steps to follow in order to reproduce this problem?

Right now, manually adding a parameter that's not described by TemplateData shows a message saying that the parameter is "unknown", which is a little odd if it then seems to work.

There are very many templates where the TemplateData description is incomplete and some parameters are just not documented. Some better description than unknown would be good - perhaphs "undocumented".
