Steps to reproduce:

1.Click on the edit button for a page where you have a image on the right of the page which has another image as caption

2.Type something as the first line
3.Delete the first line by pressing backspace
4.When it deletes the first character of the line ,pressing backspace again still keeps the cursor in the main page
5.Now add a reference to the empty space,which gets added to the caption of the image at the right.
6.Now type something on the second line and add a reference

Observed Result:

The dialog box for adding reference does not appear anymore.
