Steps to reproduce:

1.Place the cursor at the end of the text or in the beginning or in the middle of a text
2.Now select any or all of the options from More>Computer Code/Strikethrough/Underline/Superscript/Subscript

Observed Result:

Observe that all the options are highlighted in the menu bar but the text format does not change accordingly.If the format of the text is not suppose to change, providing way to disable to the highlight will be better

nshahquinn-wmf set Security to None.

It looks like a formatting button like "subscript" is highlighted if a character typed in the cursor's current location would have that formatting. This seems like a sensible behavior.
