I'm not sure we need this.

While Bugzilla and Gerrit have thousands of entries and frequently require some kind of quick response, the MediaWiki RFC process is based on dozens of RFCs about strategic steps that usually don't require urgent action.

New RFCs could be simply announced in wikitech-l. Most changes of status are happening in RFC meetings with minutes that also go to wikitech-l.

I didn't mean to convey a sense of urgency. The bot could e-mail weekly, fortnightly, or monthly. But I do think better advertising RFCs to wikitech-l would be helpful.

New RFCs could be simply announced in wikitech-l.

Many people (myself included) don't do this. I'm hoping automation will help.

Now that TechComm sends out reports covering the RFC process, do we still need this?
