Hi Aarti, I have many questions and concerns about this report that you are proposing as a Google Code-in task:

Are you referring to English Wikisource or to a general mockup or any Wikisource project?

Do you mean improving https://en.m.wikisource.org/wiki/Main_Page or doing something different?

Students should be aware of MobileFrontend's design and limitations.

Is there any community discussion related to this? We don't want to send GCI students where there is no community agreement yet.

In any case, solving "Index, Page and Main namespace" looks well beyond the complexity and amount of work of a single GCI task.

I'm closing this for the time being due to insufficient information.
