wikibugs misunderstands two comments on the same bug in the same second as being from the same person (as Bugzilla mangles them into one email notification)

2013-12-17 - 13:53:59 <legoktm> wat
2013-12-17 - 13:54:06 <legoktm> I definitely only added 1 comment.
2013-12-17 - 13:54:26 <marktraceur> It parsed mine as yours I guess
2013-12-17 - 13:54:28 <marktraceur> Hilarious
2013-12-17 - 13:54:37 * marktraceur files *that* bug

We both filed comments in the same second (see the bug, comments 2 and 3), and it somehow said that Lego made both comments. Maybe something else is at play, or it's part of the larger problems with the name functionality, but clearly something is up.

Happened to me once too some time ago.

This is the succession of mail messages of bug 58599, although I'm not really sure if that's the order, since message 411236 contains both bug 58599 comment 2 and bug 58599 comment 3, while 411237 contains bug 58599 comment 2 only

wikibugs has been superseded by pywikibugs ( https://github.com/valhallasw/pywikibugs ) - is this still a problem with pywikibugs?

I think this is actually a problem with Bugzilla (race condition causing outgoing email to be mangled), so new wikibugs is probably still affected.

Wikimedia has migrated from Bugzilla to Phabricator. Learn more about it here: https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Phabricator/versus_Bugzilla - This task does not make sense anymore in the concept of Phabricator, hence closing as declined.
