Mingle redirects
Closed, DeclinedPublic

Description

mingle.corp.wikimedia.org is now read-only (unless some projects are not still) and was moved to wikimedia.mingle.thoughtworks.com: set up redirects, or people won't notice they're looking at outdated stuff (and links will break once the instance is removed).
Note, some projects were also renamed, e.g. https://mingle.corp.wikimedia.org/projects/internationalization/ -> https://wikimedia.mingle.thoughtworks.com/projects/language_engineering/ .

If anybody would like to create a software patch to change the configuration, please see

The files to change for this request are in https://git.wikimedia.org/summary/?r=operations/apache-config.git
Please note that providing help with Git/Gerrit is out of scope for this specific bug report. Thanks!

I don't think that's true as this was under corp.wikimedia.org and therefore administered by WMF's internal Office IT team, instead of Operations

Also the domain no longer resolves

or people won't notice they're looking at outdated stuff (and links will break once the instance is removed)

They will notice now and links are broken either way, as https://wikimedia.mingle.thoughtworks.com/projects/language_engineering/ redirects to https://profile.thoughtworks.com/cas/wikimedia/login?service=https://wikimedia.mingle.thoughtworks.com/profile/login etc.

How to rescue our data is an open question at T822#977506
