Steps to reproduce:

1.Open an editor in Firfox which contains a link
2.Copy the link
3.Paste it into another VE and save it

Observed Result:
The link is appearing within [] bracket and with a lock icon beside it.

This is also happening for Chrome Browser.

Possibly got fixed by https://gerrit.wikimedia.org/r/#/c/106253/ as it was happening even just before wmf11 deployment in test2
