Is it possible to get a list of all the empty categories on the Commons? Both completely empty ones and categories with no files or sub-categories, but that are categorized themselves. Two separate lists would be great but it's not at all necessary.

Few questions:

Where do you want the lists? On Commons somewhere?
How often do you want the lists updated? (Or do you just want the lists one time?)
Can you look at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Database_reports/Empty_categories and http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Database_reports/Self-categorized_categories ? Are these pretty much what you want?
