The hilite template doc page on Wikipedia,
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Template:Hilite/doc ,
has examples of five ways to parameterize the template (including null). The third and fourth, which should have pink and yellow highlighting respectively, have none. I am using a 13-inch, Mid 2011 MacBook Air with Mac OS X Lion 10.7.5 (11G63b). I discovered the bug in Firefox 26.0 and have replicated it in Chrome 31.0.1650.63 and Safari 6.1.1 (7537.73.11).
