In edit source mode

Steps to reproduce:

1.Open a page with VE which has some references and <references/> tag added
2.Add an image in the page
3.Go to media settings and add a caption with reference inside it
4.Save the page

Observed Result:
An error appears in the read mode :"Cite error: <ref> tags exist, but no <references/> tag was found "

Also in the resulting wikitext, the reference inside image did not get added in the <references/> section

Although if you go to Edit mode the reference inside the image is correctly showing up in the <references/> tag.
