Right now, Icinga reports problems of hosts (e. g., "is DOWN") multiple times (every half hour or so?). It should only report /changes/ in the status, i. e. when a problem first occurs or when it is solved.

I joined #wikimedia-labs-nagios and clicked the topic link (from 2013) but http://nagios.wmflabs.org/ does not exist (anymore).
@scfc: How is this task related to Wikimedia-Labs exactly (nowadays)? Is this still valid?
It was related to Labs as Labs's Icinga monitors the status of all Labs instances and that status was reported on IRC. But I'm no longer active on IRC and also there is Shinken, etc., so I don't know if this is still a problem and, if it is, it doesn't affect me any longer, so I couldn't tell when it will be fixed, either. If someone else is bothered by this issue, please reopen.
