Purodha is sadly no longer with us. Does anyone know what this tool did or whether it is still required? If not I propose to close this as declined.

The tool took a username and list the wikis where an account with said username existed. Unlike the other similar tools, it also gave the local user_id for each.

I think it's easier to add the option to display the local user_id to another tool. @Nemo_bis, what similar tool meets your needs otherwise?

Perhaps https://tools.wmflabs.org/meta/stalktoy/ ; nowadays Special:CentralAuth is used more.

In that case, please file an RFE at https://github.com/Pathoschild/Wikimedia-contrib/issues or in MediaWiki-extensions-CentralAuth.

Curious: What do you use user_id for a) manually and b) on the web? I would assume that user_id is most useful for database queries, and there you can probably get the list directly from the database, and on the other hand AFAIUI the API (always?) allows to select on user as well, so there is no need to use userid there.
