Middle-clicking "View changes" opens primary link instead of secondary link in Opera

Description

The when the "View changes" link in the "thank" dialog ("X thanked you for your edit on Y.") in the notifications box is middle-clicked or right-click > "Open in new tab"-ed in Opera, the page opened in the new tab is the user page of the thanking user, as opposed to the actual diff/changes. This bug does not occur in either Chrome or Firefox.

What version of Opera? I just tested it in 18.0.1284.68 OSX10.9 and right clicking on "open in a new tab" sent me to the proper link.

Note that the links in Thanks are going to change during the next deployment (bug 56225), but it should be reproducible with other echo notifications.
