Using MathJax: <math>-Formulas indented by one colon on otherwise empty lines appear aligned in center, not left according to leading colon
Closed, ResolvedPublic

Description

Author: anmichvon-wikipedia

Description:
A line like the following in any discussion or article in any wikipedia (checked en.wikipedia.org and de.wikipedia.org) will result in a center-aligned display of the result if preference MathJax is used:

:<math>e=mc^2</math>

Without leading colon the result is left-aligned (ok).

In presence of normal text on same line the result is left-aligned (with expected indent) (ok). (So a trailing can serve as workaround)

Seems to affect all Browsers on all OS. (Reports exist for linux/chrome, win-7-64/Firefox, Win-7-64/Internet-Explorer)

Seems to have emerged "recently" (consistent to change on 2014 Feb. 6)
