Cannot view images in higher resolution
Closed, ResolvedPublic

Description

Author: ollie.zhu

Description:
I cannot access higher resolution views of image thumbnails via the Wikipedia app. I am using version 3.3.1 on an iPhone 4.

Attached is a screenshot of the page I get when I click on an image. I expect either a resizeable, full resolution view of the image (like I get when viewing an full resolution image on my phone's web browser), or a page containing the image file's metadata. Instead, I am served a plain page with just the name of the file in very large font.

This issue exists for at least .jpg and .svg files, although I suspect that it is consistent with other file types.

Sorry if this is a feature, not a bug. :)

This is a confirmed problem with the current app; we're in process of completely rewriting the app and will have a much better photo viewer in there once we're through...
