Description:
Would it please be possible to lift the cap on account creations on en.wikipedia, for the period from Monday 2013-02-17 1-5 p.m. USA eastern standard time.
I am running a Wikipedia and GLAM session at the Small Museuem Association conference in Ocean city, Maryland, USA. We are told to expect around 50 people for the session; I don't know how many are likely to be trying to create accounts. http://www.smallmuseum.org/conference.html
Sorry for the late request, I wasn't able to get information about the IP address in advance, and what I do have is somewhat sketchy: They weren't able to give me the exact IP address for the conference center, but it should be in the following range:
IP address for Clarion Resort Fontainebleau Hotel, Ocean City, MD
The machine I was able to check had the following address, and listed others:
10.62.88.100 (also .22, .29, .26)
The Subnet mask was 255.255.252.0
If you can manage to get a cap reset with that information, thank you! The key period is 1-3 p.m., but we may still have people working between 3-5.
