Creating a redirect results in endless spinner
Closed, ResolvedPublic

Description

To reproduce:

  • In MobileFrontend stable, create a new article or edit a page to include a redirect (#REDIRECT [[somepage]])
  • View preview
  • Submit your edit
  • See endless spinner + toast message notifying you of your successful edit

Expected:

  • See the 'redirect' text on the article you just edited, like you do in the desktop version of the site

Note that when you make a redirect edit on the desktop version of the site, redirect=no gets appended to the URL after you've submitted your change so you can view the change without getting redirected.

Note this only happens where somepage doesn't exist. Patch on way.
